SP Jain's BBA Reach the Final round for the 5th United Arab Emirates Undergraduate Research Competition

One of SP Jain’s BBA 2015 Regional Immersion Project groups has been selected for the 5th United Arab Emirates Undergraduate Research Competition. “Team Happiness”, as they call themselves, have been working passionately on their research topic- Happiness and Innovation in the UAE. Their approach encompasses interviews of various experts from the region who have been involved in initiatives around the science of happiness, as well as an in-depth survey analysis.

The group will be presenting for the finals on the 8th of May 2017, at Abu Dhabi University. SP Jain wishes Team Happiness all the very best for the same! With inputs and guidance from stalwarts, and a thorough guidance from their Academic Mentor, who is also a psychologist and a Happiness Consultant at SP Jain, the team aims to create more awareness about the importance of happiness through their research, and to highlight the efforts made by the government of UAE to make UAE one of the happiest countries in the world.

About the competition:

The UAE Undergraduate Research Competition (URC) is organised annually by Abu Dhabi University. This national-level competition aims at encouraging universities in the UAE to promote scientific research among undergraduate students and to make it an integral part of university education. Participating in this competition provides students with a great opportunity for competitive interaction with other universities within the UAE. Additionally, the competition serves to strengthen critical and analytical thinking skills among undergraduate students and to enhance students’ confidence in their research abilities, to explore new frontiers in their fields of study and to prepare them for graduate level studies.
The UAE URC is the first and largest such event in the UAE, inviting students' research work from all UAE-based universities and all major disciplines.
