Student Well-being & Happiness program
SP Jain’s Student Well-being & Happiness program encourages students to develop interpersonal skills, which help them towards self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management, as well as empathy skills. It offers a new focus on challenges and solutions on how to understand and help each other.
It also entails learning more about the science of Positive Psychology and designing initiatives around the same. The SP Jain Centre of Excellence for Happiness is a re-imagining of how individuals can best work and live together using core principles from the latest research findings from the Science of Happiness.
The counselling services are provided in a private and confidential space.
Counselling records are kept separate from academic, disciplinary and medical records to ensure your privacy and confidentiality.

Roles and Responsibilities
Explore our library's wealth of resources and databases conveniently accessible through Blackboard across all campuses. Our libraries provide access to collections sufficient in quality, depth, diversity, format and currency to support the research and teaching pursuits of the institution.
We have a physical library at each campus and a comprehensive electronic library with a collection of 810,000 books (print and e-books) and seven databases, including the Middle Eastern database MEED, Euromonitor and Reuters. We also offer FT Education, regional newspapers and collaborations with local libraries. Our extensive e-library is accessible anytime.
Our librarians are dedicated to enhancing your learning journey. They actively assist users in discovering and utilising our wide range of resources, including e-books and other materials. They support teaching, learning, and various academic endeavours, ensuring students and staff can access the tools they need.
Our primary focus is establishing digital resources for seamless distribution 24/7 and supporting sustainability initiatives, aligning with platforms like Perlego or Ebook Central, offering over 800,000 titles.
We support the research activities of staff and students through subscriptions to online resources and databases, such as EBSCO Business Source Complete, ProQuest Business Complete, Euromonitor, Thomson Reuters Eikon terminals, and premier business news sources. Our reference services align with the School's research priorities, supporting researchers and their activities.
Our library fosters information literacy skills in different ways. The library currently serves around 2,000 students and 150 faculty.
The School has integrated compulsory Business English Writing and Business Oral Communications in the core curriculum for most undergraduate courses. For postgraduate students, the School provides English language support workshops that are available for all students.
The School also recognises that some students will require additional specific language support identified at admission and will design additional English language support measures in collaboration with the School’s academic team.

Students will also receive training on the various components of what constitutes plagiarism.
To reiterate the importance of any academic misconduct or plagiarism, students sign an “Academic Code of Conduct Pledge” during orientation and before each term and examination.

We take pride in ensuring that each student is well placed for a successful career at the end of their postgraduate program. Our Professional Readiness Program (PRP) prepares students for this comprehensively. Our work with students as part of the PRP involves pairing them with their individual career objectives, work experience, educational background and, more importantly, positioning them for growth in their careers.
PRP also covers leadership and communication training, professional presentation, voice and body language, and how students present themselves in a job interview. For students who wish to change their careers, PRP offers special assistance by training and educating them on their new primary industry of interest. This “soft knowledge” helps students have successful job interviews and adapt better to a new work environment.
Our multinational Career Services teams in Dubai, India, Singapore and Sydney play a very important role in helping students achieve their career goals. In the initial terms of the postgraduate programs, the teams expose students to corporate centres, business leaders and entrepreneurs through guest lectures, industry visits and projects. In the final term, the teams help students build a strong career strategy and identify suitable roles/internship and companies for them to apply to.
We are committed to supporting talented and motivated students through a range of scholarships and bursaries. Merit-based scholarships recognise academic excellence and outstanding potential, while diversity scholarships encourage an inclusive and vibrant student community. In addition, housing bursaries are available to help students reduce accommodation costs and ensure access to a supportive learning environment.
Full details on the various scholarships are available on each program's page.
