As a BBA student at SP Jain School of Global Management, I have always believed that some of the most valuable learning happens when we are able to connect what we study in class with real-world business situations. My internship at Zolon Tech in Hyderabad gave me an opportunity to do exactly that.

Every year, when admissions season opens, I find myself having a familiar conversation. A prospective student — bright-eyed, curious, but visibly nervous — sits across from me and asks some version of the same question: "Is data science only for math geniuses and coding prodigies?" I'm originally from Patiala, Punjab, where I completed my bachelor's degree at Thapar Institute in International Management with a minor in Psychology. I come from a business family, so conversations about markets, negotiation, and enterprise were part of my everyday upbringing long before they became coursework.
