S P Jain School of Global Management’s Dubai Campus organised an Alumni Mixer on 28th January, 2017, which was attended by the esteemed alumni from the GMBA Program.
The SP Jain Students Club, titled M.A.D, that stands and dedicates itself to the rich forms of Music, Arts & Dance hosted their first event in the Dubai campus in line with the Chinese Lunar Year, Australian National Day and Indian Republic Day celebrations on 26th January 2017.
Udaan, as the name suggests, is a flight. For the GFMB students of S P Jain School of Global Management, Udaan means a flight of possibilities, spirit and exploration. Celebrated every year as the Global FMB fest, Udaan has always been the final ice-breaker for a life-long bonding between the next generation of family businessmen and women from across the industries and cities. On the 24th and 25th of January, the GFMB Batch-6 students undertook a journey to overcome not just the external barriers, but internal ones too.

On the 19th of January, the S P Jain Jags had a much awaited industrial visit to the Mirzam Chocolate Factory at Al Serkal Avenue, Dubai. Mirzam is a very new brand of luxury chocolates and the only ‘bean to bar’ chocolate manufacturer in UAE. Named after one of the brightest stars in the night sky, ‘Mirzam’ caters to a very specific niche market with their completely natural and preservative-free products.
On 19th January 2017, 25 students of SP Jain’s undergraduate batch visited the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees’ Dubai Main Office in the MENA region. UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is a global organisation dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights, and building a better future for refugees, forcibly displaced communities, and stateless people.
