The Bachelor of Business Administration subjects comprise general business, specialised business and liberal arts. Students can choose to specialise in Marketing, Finance or Entrepreneurship. In addition to intensive academic learning, the program focuses on developing crucial real-world business and employability skills, giving students the confidence, knowledge and expertise required to excel in a global setting.

At SP Jain, I have found constant inspiration to work hard to achieve all my goals in life and I am going to make the most of it. I refuse to believe that a problem is too big or too small for me to care about. I might be just a college student aspiring to make a difference, but I believe that attitude, determination and resilience can go a long way in making things happen and bringing about change.
Having the advantage of experiencing different cultures and business environments, and the opportunity to work with professionals from different backgrounds, I felt confident and well equipped when joining the workforce in Australia.
During the four years I spent in Singapore, Dubai and Australia, I had great learning experiences and the opportunity to participate in many character-building and career-oriented events. It was challenging to move to a different country almost every year, but it was also rewarding. I had amazing friendships, professional relationships and, more importantly, the understanding of how business is conducted across the globe.
The program did not solely focus on academic theories. It provided a very holistic approach of how things work in the practical business world. Upon graduation, I joined Mainstream Group, one of Australia’s leading Fund Administrators as an IMA Investment Analyst. A year later, I moved to Brookfield Financial as an Investment Banking Analyst. I truly believe what I learned from SP Jain played a great part in my career path.
SP Jain has given me a wealth of experience that is more than the four corners of the classroom. At a young age, I was able to meet and interact with CEOs of top companies and startups. They have inspired me to become a global leader. I am also friends with people from more than 20 different nationalities. Potential business partners in the future, and a truly global network – this is indeed a unique study experience.
I spent 2 years in Singapore and 2 years in Sydney* and completed my BBA with SP Jain. I had many great experiences during this time which helped me become a global citizen, always ready to be a part of any work environment.
I was the President of the Language Club, organised charity events, built houses in Cambodia (it’s true!), joined the AIESEC Singapore, interned in China, and built lifelong friendships with my uni-mates from 16 countries. In between, I also had the opportunity to work in 2 cities – Singapore (AVIVA) and Sydney (Neo@Ogilvy), and explored the uniqueness of both Eastern and Western work cultures.
On graduating, I joined Ogilvy – one of the world’s biggest media agencies – as a Performance Executive in Sydney. Two years later, I started No Brand Semarang with my husband in our home country, Indonesia. I am grateful and feel privileged to have spent 4 years of my life at SP Jain.
*The program has since been updated to a tri-city model, split between our campuses in Singapore/Mumbai, Dubai and Sydney
My tri-city journey was about the tri-city program until the last leg of Sydney happened. That's when most of us realised that it didn't matter whichever city we were travelling to and that it was about all of us moving from city to city together. It's having the privilege of saying that home isn't a place but the people you declare as home. My favourite aspect of the journey? Bonding with people across the globe and knowing I can call them up at 3 AM and ask for help.
SP Jain inspired me in many ways to go beyond. I was successfully able to complete six internships with some of the world’s biggest brands, participate in a business reality TV show as one of the top 16 students in the UAE, win a gold at the Dubai Lynx Festival, and bag a ‘Top Marketer’ award by Google alongside my degree.
My biggest takeaway from SP Jain was the confidence it gave me to excel at communicating. This confidence to bring across my potential is what helped me achieve my current role with no previous experience in Project Management. My role is very unique, as I report directly to the CEO - no day is like another. It is very rewarding to be part of the company’s decision-making, and especially, to support decisions that contribute to a sustainable world.
The global exposure I acquired at SP Jain allows me to work seamlessly with senior leaders from different countries and cultures. The core courses from my BBA prepared me to efficiently complete the diverse tasks I am assigned in my current role. Overall, SP Jain prepared me for success at a very young age.
SP Jain ensured that our learning experience was uncompromised by organising multiple classes a day for students from different time zones. We also had numerous virtual activities like the Cross Campus SPJ Gaming Tournaments or the workshops on many interesting topics.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, SP Jain helped me explore the world by travelling to different places and making friends with fascinating people. During the pandemic, the school has proved itself by adapting to the situation with ease, actively listening to the students’ feedback, and providing us with a brilliant virtual learning experience.
These four years have been a massive learning experience in terms of business agility and cultural sensitivity. All the three locations – Singapore, Dubai and Sydney – are so different in the kind of marketing and business practices they adopt. There is so much to learn from living and working in these three dynamic business environments about how different segments of customers perceive different business and marketing efforts.
The global experiences that I had exposed me to uncountable cultures and experiences, which made me open to things I never thought I’d experience. In Singapore, I interned at Frost & Sullivan. This was followed by an internship with Bizwit Consultants (India), where I brushed up my report writing skills. When I came to Sydney for the final leg, I was hired by ACA Research where I assisted in Market Research – from creating survey links to full reports with charts and data analysis. ACA taught me end-to-end account handling.
