SP Jain congratulates Shivangi Agarwal (MGB – Jan’16), who, under the mentorship of Dr Nawazish Mirza, has published her peer reviewed article in “Review of Innovation and Competitiveness Volume 3, Issue 1, 2017”.

Four Bachelor of Business Communication students from SP Jain have been shortlisted amongst the top 20 students representing GCC to compete at Facebook UAE – Hack 4 good – an Inter University Competition at Dubai Lynx Festival of Creativity, 2017.

The shortlisted jaguars include Kimberly Eliott, Komal Tawre, Natasja Klaire Pagulayan and Sachin Kapoor, who had a chance to visit the Facebook UAE office and join in an interactive session with the Facebook Staff on the 2nd of March. Komal Tawre (missing in the group photo), who was in India at the time, could Skype in during the session and join the discussion and meet the fellow contestants.

The annual Graduation Ceremony for our postgraduate students is a grand event. SP Jain graduands were presented with their degree scrolls and awards in the presence of their lecturers, friends, and relatives. It was also an opportunity to celebrate their achievements, show gratitude to those who stood by them, and to look back on the memorable times spent during their course of study.

Launching SP Jain’s new blog series this week Hall of Fame, we get in touch with our senior alumni to seek stories about their successes. We speak to them about their learning experiences during their time at SP Jain and how their career has progressed over the years. Kick-starting the series with an interaction with our alumnus Dr. Atul Sharma, our first feature in this series he shares his personal story and how his career has progressed in the years after his MBA.

The HR Conclave 2016 at SP Jain saw HR professionals from the top organisations in the Middle East gather to discuss and share emerging HR trends. This year’s conclave explored best practices to tackle the challenges brought on by today’s ever-changing work environment.

SP Jain School of Global Management’s Sydney Campus was host to the Union Finance Minister of India, Hon’ble Arun Jaitley and his delegation on 26th March 2016. He was joined by His Excellency High Commissioner of India Mr Navdeep Singh Suri, Consul General of India Mr B. Vanlalvawna, and Deputy Consul General Dr Vinod Bahade.

It is aptly said that the quench to do something different drives the creation of trends for many to follow. The seeds to set one such trend in SP Jain, Dubai campus were sown in March 2016. What followed were a couple of meetings and endless efforts of the Corporate Relations Team and the students of Jan 2016 intake to materialise the first ever Inter-Corporate Table Tennis Tournament in SP Jain.
