On 24 May 2018, SP Jain’s Singapore campus hosted Mr. Ernesto H. Braam, the Regional Strategic Advisor, Southeast Asia from the Dutch Embassy in Singapore. As part of the Visiting Wisdom series, Mr. Braam shared his insights on the geopolitics and economic situation in Southeast Asia (S.E.A).

The SP Jain Toastmasters Club, Dubai held its 24^th meeting on 19 May 2018, with many new faces, including the budding Toastmasters from the new Batch 42, alongside the more experienced members. With 36 attendees, including Dr Gary Stockport (Dean – Executive MBA), the meet started with the Opening Speech by Attul Sreenath (Student, Executive MBA Batch 39) followed by a Presidential address by Parmita Debnath (Manager – EMBA Program and Quality Assurance) who emphasised the value of commitment.

On 16^th May 2018, SP Jain’s Dubai campus launched the first phase of its Counsellors Workshop Series, hosting over 15 schools from across the UAE. Introducing the concept to show appreciation and support school advisors, equip them with modern tools to face today’s challenges and create a community of educators that can work together for the betterment of our society, the School intends for this to be the first of the many series to come.

SP Jain Toastmasters Club in Dubai hosted a Toastmasters Area Contest on the 9th March 2018, attended by approximately 180 Toastmasters from across the region.

BBA 2nd year students currently studying at the Dubai campus recently won the first place at Startup Weekend: University Edition at the Dubai Future Accelerators, Emirates Towers held between 19th – 21st April 2018.

On 19 April 2018, GMBA & MGB students from the Jan 2018 cohort specialising in Global Logistics & Supply Chain visited the office and factory of Unilever Personal Care based in Dubai Industrial Park.

On 18th April, SP Jain Singapore received S$125,000 from award-winning FinTech company, Flywire. Flywire was the recipient of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Best FinTech company in 2017 and won a cash prize of S$250,000, out of which it pledged S$125,000 to SP Jain Singapore.
