Two Generations. One Business School.

The pursuit of higher education is a shared goal between this dynamic father-daughter duo. Rakesh KP is an SP Jain Executive MBA (EMBA) alumnus from the Class of 2009 and his daughter, Anushka Rakesh, enrolled in SP Jain’s tri-city Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in 2018. Gaining a 360-degree understanding of luxury management – Ritansh Jain’s story

Ritansh Jain, hailing from Rajasthan, had completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. He wanted to pursue his postgraduate studies in the field of luxury and chose SP Jain School of Global Management and MIP Politecnico di Milano’s Master in Global Luxury Goods and Services Management program (Class of 2018). He now has an exciting role as a Luxury and Fashion PR Executive at Amigos Communications, a media and news company, in Mumbai. Mysore Saree Udyog (MSU) might be a household name in southern India today, but during the brand’s launch back in 1932, my family had started it with the intention of manufacturing and supplying real gold threads, commonly known as Zari. Over the past 9 decades since its launch, we slowly expanded MSU into the manufacture and retail of authentic silk yarn and fabric, and the success of the brand today speaks for itself.
