Sydney campus acquisition by Sydney Metro

In October 2019, SP Jain School of Global Management was informed that Sydney Metro would be acquiring several sites within the Sydney Olympic Park, including the one that houses SP Jain’s Sydney campus, for the construction of the new Sydney Metro West Rail. The New Metro Rail will connect Greater Parramatta with the Sydney CBD and is expected to be constructed over the next ten years. To not come in the way of significant infrastructure development in Sydney, the School will cooperate with this new project wholeheartedly.

While the news of having to vacate from a much-loved campus sounded disappointing at first, we now see this as an opportunity to create a modern campus to better serve the needs of our students, alumni, faculty, staff as well as other key members of the SP Jain community based in Sydney.

We have identified a suitable new site at 15 Carter Street in Lidcombe near Sydney Olympic Park, just a short walk away from our old campus. The new premises, spread across 6,000 square metres, will include all the top-notch facilities offered at our old campus. (Read more)

While we don’t expect this move to disrupt any of our student operations significantly, a few of our undergraduate and postgraduate cohorts will undertake the Sydney leg of their SP Jain journey at our new campus.

The well-being of our students, faculty, and staff is our topmost priority, and we will keep updating this web page with the latest developments as they unfold. If you have any questions regarding the Sydney campus acquisition or if you would like to speak to us about this development, please contact us and we will get in touch with you.
