With remarkable expertise, why did Fauziah decide to take up SP Jain's EMBA? Read on to know more about her journey.

Q.  What are some of your fondest memories from the 18 months at SP Jain?

My fondest memories would definitely include the learnings from SP Jain’s professors and the class experience. Finance was my most dreaded subject, and I still cannot believe that I chose it as an elective for the EMBA. I want to thank Professor Manek Mukesh,  Tristan Chong, Shiva Venkatraman, Dr Bhanu Ranjan and Dr Veena Jadhav for igniting the spark in me to deepen my knowledge in Finance-related subjects.

Q.  What were your favourite aspects of the program?

I love the dynamic ELO (Engage Learning Online) Room as it allows us to interact seamlessly with each faculty and cohort member. The course structure is intense and comprehensive. The projects and assignments help us implement the learning in real-case scenarios.

Q.  How did your peer interactions help you build knowledge of diverse fields?

My peers helped me by providing meaningful insights into diverse fields of Finance, Operations, and Strategies. While concentrating on brushing up on known subjects like Sales and Marketing, my peers and classmates taught me how to make a correlation between Sales with other topics like Finance and Operations. I was able to make a more holistic approach to strategic thinking.

Q.  Where do you see yourself a few years down the line?

I see myself leading my company's Learning and Development department at the Asia Pacific Level.

Q.  What advice would you like to give our future EMBA graduates embarking on a similar journey? How can they make the best of this opportunity?

It is never too late. I started my learning journey after 10 years of post-graduation, but it was a gratifying experience. I was able to revisit my earlier learnings and able to imbibe myself with new knowledge.

The EMBA program is highly engaging and strenuous, which is the key to our success. We must manage ourselves and our stakeholders and deliver tasks by creating a high-value add to all partners.
