“The MBA at S P Jain School of Global Management, Singapore and Dubai, was one of my finest years. I met people who would be my friends for life”, shared Amar. “Although I enjoyed the course in its entirety, the two courses that come to my mind as I reminisce about the year were Marketing, taught by Professor Ram Kumar (who is himself a rock star), and Entrepreneurship, taught by Professor Seng Choon.” Amar adds.

Amar took a break from working full time more than a year back and has been doing a bunch of stuff-freelancing as a Qualitative consultant for research agencies in India, writing stand-up comedy, and content writing. He is also currently working on figuring a business model amongst all the madness.

“I didn’t do any comedy during the MBA year. There wasn’t much time to think about it – too many courses to clear in a year. However, I started a marketing forum and a leadership forum, and hosted those meets”, Amar shares.

Working as a stand-up comedian among many other things, Amar tells us how it takes a while for some people to figure out who they are. He is passionate about writing and comedy and when he realised it, he decided to give it a considerable amount of time. “The more we know who we are, the better people we can become. In the last one and a half years, I have improved as a performer and have written a few books”, Amar shares.

“I am really proud of my Alma matter and its growing credibility around the globe, thanks to the grand vision of Nitish Sir. To my fellow alums, I would like to say – follow your happiness. Success is nothing but joy felt in the deepest corners of your heart. Everything else is secondary”, Amar concludes.
