GMBA Students present their Action Learning Project with ENOC

Action Learning Projects serve as an integral part of Term 3 for the Global MBA Students. Team SP Jain is proud of our Students, Vikrant Sharma and Nikhil Subramanian, who have done a tremendous work for their ALPs. Their outcomes have been very well acknowledged and appreciated by their external corporate mentors from Emirates National Oil Company Ltd (ENOC) – one of the oldest and biggest oil companies in the U.A.E.

Dr Rajiv Aserkar presents his paper at the IPSERA Conference, Budapest, Hungary

Congratulations to Dr Rajiv Aserkar (Professor and Area Head – Logistics & Supply Chain, S P Jain School of Global Management) who presented his paper titled “Making Sourcing Decisions Through Total Landed Cost Exercise” in The International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association (IPSERA) Conference in Budapest, Hungary. The paper received appreciations from fellow educators from the top universities and leading industries from across the world. The Conference was co-hosted by University of Pannonia, Corvinus University of Budapest and Supply Chain Finance Community.

Dr. Nicolas Hamelin to Chair the 26th World Business Congress, IMDA

Dr. Nicolas Hamelin has been invited to chair the 26th World Business Congress of the International Management Development Association (IMDA), which will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, between the 19th and 23rd May, 2017. Dr. Nicolas will chair the congress as well as present at the Session II.14: Global Marketing Management and Business Strategies. His keynote address will focus on the topic “How neuroscience can help package design.”

Jaguars titled MENA CFA Research Challenge Winners, 2017

Second year BBA students, Aadit Mohnot, Ganeshram Rajagopalan, Lavena Bhansali, Sai Kartheek and Kunal Dugar won the enviable MENA CFA Society Emirates Winner title, as they represented UAE to compete among other MENA countries like Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan at the CFA Institute Research Challenge on 7th April 2017.

SP Jain wins the top two positions at UAE's 2017 CFA Institute research challenge

The research challenge is considered as the gold standard among students pursuing a degree in Finance. The two teams from SP Jain emerged as winners after competing with seven teams from various Universities across UAE.  Both the teams demonstrated absolute commitment, rigor and hard work during last four months which helped them in tis major win.
