New Age Careers – SP Jain Global featured in India Today magazine

We are pleased to share that SP Jain School of Global Management’s programs – Bachelor of Data Science, Big Data & Visual Analytics and Master in Global Luxury Goods & Services Management – have been featured in the October 2019 issue of the India Today Smart Education Magazine. The article highlights how our programs equip students with the skills required to embark on new-age careers.

Data Science

Data-Science

Data science integrates courses such as computer science, statistics, operations research and business. “The US was the first to recognise the value of this course —universities there began offering master’s degrees about 10 years ago. In India, we were the first institute to offer a certificate program in data science in 2015,” says Dr Abhijit Dasgupta, Director – Big Data & Visual Analytics and Bachelor of Data Science, SP Jain Global.

Luxury Brand Management

Mlux

Those looking for a career in luxury brand management need good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. With India now home to several international luxury fashion, lifestyle and technology labels, luxury brand management is an emerging new-age career. The article notes how SP Jain Global and MIP Politecnico Di Milano’s Master in Global Luxury Goods & Services Management program helps students gain an understanding of the strategies of premium segments. “Luxury is an ever-developing industry and there is a shortage of intellectual resources. The course develops leaders, entrepreneurs and management professionals," says Shoyeb Hussain Cyclewala, Director – Master in Global Luxury Goods and Services Management, SP Jain Global.
