How AI could help improve diabetes prediction

 
 
 

 Diabetes affects millions of people worldwide, and identifying the condition early can help people take steps to manage it. But can artificial intelligence help doctors identify people at risk more accurately?

 In an article for Express Pharma, Dr Vincent Hooper, Professor of Finance and Area Head at SP Jain Global, discusses research conducted at SP Jain Global in collaboration with Sofia University.

The research tested a simpler approach to using AI for diabetes prediction and found promising results, achieving 95.5% accuracy and correctly identifying more than 91% of diabetic cases.

The findings highlight the potential of AI to support earlier identification of diabetes and show that effective solutions do not always have to be complicated.
