Dr. Silvia Vianello awarded ‘Manager of the Year’ by Italian magazine F Settimanale

Dr. Silvia Vianello, Director Innovation Center at SP Jain School of Global Management, was awarded ‘Manager of the Year’ by F Settimanale, a fortnightly Italian magazine which covers fashion, beauty and all the latest news and features celebrity interviews.

“Thanks Italy for recognising me as the ‘Manager of the Year’. The most important commitment of a leader is to create other leaders. So, in representing the country worldwide, I am glad to announce we can donate 10 scholarships for Italians willing to study either Master of Global Business (MGB) or Global Master of Business Administration (GMBA) in our campuses (Dubai, Singapore and Sydney). We will create new Italian leaders in SP Jain,” said Dr. Silvia Vianello.

Dr. Vianello was earlier awarded The Middle East Women Leadership Award at the Asian Leadership Awards (ALA) in 2018 and was recognised by Forbes as one of the Top 100 Most Successful Italian Women in the World.

She has written for or been covered by Sloan Management Review, Forbes, India Today, The Wall Street Journal, The National.ae, The Economist, Millionaire, VanityFair, Glamour, Elle and many other reputed publications. She has authored many books on marketing, new technologies, e-commerce, omnichannel and digital transformation. She has also hosted ‘Smart&APP-The Technology Show’, a TV show related to innovation and technology, for four years on Sky.

Dr. Vianello is a world-renowned expert in marketing, technology and future vision (artificial intelligence, robots, blockchain, drones, machine learning, emotional intelligence, etc.) who speaks regularly in corporate and public settings; example engagements include Intel, HP, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Lenovo, Crowdfunding Week, Wurth, Government events, Top Management Forum, Techdata, Salesforce, Nestle, Netcomm e-commerce forum, Internet Days, Sopra Steria, Engineering SPA, Sisal and Aramex.
