Mr Vikram Pandya, Director of FinTech at SP Jain School of Global Management, recently had his comments featured in The Sun Daily, Malaysia's first free and largest circulating urban newspaper. Titled Initial coin offerings – Are they worth a look?, the article also featured comments from industry leaders including Aaron Tang (Marketing/Community Lead, Luno Malaysia), and Evan Ngow (Chief Communication Officer, GCOX).

Dr Marion Igarashi, Academic Dean – Undergraduate Programs (Global), recently authored an article on “Entrepreneurship Is a Way of Thinking”.

On 17th April, Dr Dhrupad Mathur (Associate Professor and Assistant Dean - EMBA Dubai) chaired a panel discussion on Data Monetization at the Smart Data Summit Dubai 2018. The panel delved into various aspects like operationalizing insights from the data, driving improved business processes, better operational efficiency, and enhanced customer experience.

Dr Kirti Khanzode recently shared her views at The Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX 2018) which were featured in an article titled “Universities in UAE to have technology modules for the future” published in Khaleej Times, a daily English language newspaper published in the UAE.

BBA students Saras Sachdev and Divya Shishodia recently won Checkmate 2.0, a show by Colors TV, to find the “Smartest Young Executive in the Middle East”. While Saras won the contest and an internship with RAK Bank, Divya was a runner up winning an internship with Bayut.

Dr Karippur Nanda Kumar, Associate Professor and Area Head (IT) at SP Jain School of Global Management has been conferred a fellowship by the Singapore Computer Society (SCS). He received the recognition plaque at the Fellow Conferment Ceremony during SCS’s 51st Annual General Meeting (AGM) Dinner event, held at the Amara Hotel.

On 20th March, SP Jain Global’s Dubai campus signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GEMS Education to provide scholarships to deserving GEMS students. GEMS Education is a pioneering education company, with a global network of award-winning K-12 schools in the Middle East, Europe, US & Asia.
