Dr Vaidyanathan Jayaraman (Dean – Undergraduate Programs, SP Jain School of Global Management) writes an article in Estrade, a news portal, on how India is clearly projected as the education hub of the world.

In the article, he further explains how India has taken a proactive approach to adopt new education techniques such as e-learning and m-learning that will all lead to a dramatic growth of distance education.

Talking about the importance of soft skills, he adds, “The top employability skills that any student should possess to get them ready for the real world include communication (verbal and writing), teamwork, logical reasoning, critical thinking and problem-solving. Organisations value such soft skills because they are important indicators of how you interact with team members and perhaps the most important stakeholders – the customers.”
