As part of the application process for SP Jain's undergraduate programs it is mandatory for applicants to take either the SAT or the SPJET. The SPJET is conducted periodically in select cities in India, Dubai, Singapore and Sydney. It can also be taken online.
The SPJET is intended to test a student's IQ, mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, and general awareness. The paper is divided into different sections based on these areas. The test is 1 hour long and is paper-based. There is negative marking – different questions may have a different scale of negative marking, and this would be taken into account while calculating a student's score. We do not have sectional cut offs; we expect the overall score to meet our cut off.
The minimum SPJET score required to study at SP Jain is the 70th percentile.
The SPJET fee is USD 45 and must be payed by credit card (international Visa or Mastercard). We do not accept payments by any other method.
Upon payment of test fees, a student can reappear for the SPJET a total of three times. Please note that payment made towards the aptitude test is non-refundable.
