DBA Program

Learning Outcomes


On successful completion of SP Jain's DBA, you graduate with an Australian doctoral degree and the skills, knowledge and their application that validate the following learning outcomes:

1. Knowledge of Business Research To equip with the broad and in-depth knowledge of the theory and scholarly literature of business, management, technology, and related disciplines to generate research that extends significantly the boundaries of knowledge.
2. Research and Business Intelligence To equip with the statistical foundations and advanced empirical tools and techniques to develop a research strategy that is appropriate for the doctoral research work.
3. Research Problem Solving and Decision Making

To gain deep insight into the conduct of rigorous and theoretically appropriate research skills and reflect scholarly practice.

4. Creativity and Innovation To demonstrate competency to develop research proposals grounded on existing theories to invent new ideas and solutions to practical business problems as discovery of new fact or substantial contributions to the body of knowledge.
5. Communication To communicate and critique the content of research papers and reports and participate as an independent reviewer for peer reviewed journals and conferences.
6. Intercultural Competence To undertake intellectual discourse with peers, academic community and other stakeholders through coherent writing and effective presentation.
7. Autonomy and Accountability of the Research

To prove that the final research work should demonstrate the scholar ability to defend their research by originality of work, insightful and innovative solutions for business problems in various contexts with maintenance of ethical standards in execution of research and its subsequent reporting with a high level of personal autonomy and accountability.
