The DBA program at SP Jain consists of two primary phases: an eight-month coursework phase and a two-year research phase.

During the coursework phase, highly interactive live virtual classes are conducted via Zoom technology on weekends. Online exams are administered through Mettl software. Upon successful completion of the coursework, each student is assigned a principal supervisor and a co-supervisor. These mentors provide one-on-one guidance through Zoom according to a mutually agreed-upon schedule, continuing throughout the research phase until program completion.
