GLOBAL MBA PROGRAM

GLOBAL IMMERSION PROJECTS

The Applied Research Project and Industry Projects of SP Jain's Global MBA program are directed towards creating a higher degree of exposure to the corporate environment and enhancing the employability and corporate readiness of students.

TERM 1: APPLIED RESEARCH PROJECT

Students undertake a self-directed individual research project related to the area of their specialisation or aligned to their chosen electives. It intends to encourage the student to develop a good foundational understanding of how to conduct a research project. Students will identify suitable frameworks, business models and a research approach to address business challenges within the contemporary global/regional dynamic environment.
TERMS 2 & 3:

TERMS 2 & 3: INDUSTRY PROJECTS

Students have an opportunity to work in a team on real-life industry projects to develop a deep understanding of the global business environment in the area of their specialisation or aligned to their chosen electives. Under this industry interface initiative, students will be provided with a business problem for which they will propose relevant recommendations. This initiative intends to equip and enable students to make business decisions in an unstructured business environment and hone their skills to think and work like a ‘consultant’.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

On successfully completing the Global MBA projects, students are expected to develop:

  • Cognitive and critical thinking skills that demonstrate their command over theories
  • Technical, creative and research skills that enable them to analyse information, problems and concepts and apply theories to different bodies of knowledge and practice
  • Communication skills that help them justify and interpret theoretical propositions, methodologies, conclusions and professional decisions to specialist and non-specialist audiences
