Overview

The Postgraduate Program in AI in Business (PAIB) is a 10-month professional non-award program that gives students practical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence alongside core business knowledge. PAIB also provides a pathway into SP Jain Global's Master of AI in Business (MAIB).

The program builds a working foundation in Artificial Intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, decision making, natural language processing, and computer vision and basic management subjects such as economics, accounting, finance, marketing, and operations. On successful completion the program, students are eligible to apply for entry into Year 2 of the MAIB program at SP Jain Global's Dubai or Sydney campus.

Note: Admission to the MAIB program is subject to approval by SP Jain Global's Admissions Committee. The PAIB is a professional program and is not accredited under the Australian Qualifications Framework. It is not recognised by UGC, AICTE, or any other regulatory body in India.

PAIB-the-right

Curriculum

To complete the requirements of the PAIB program, students must successfully complete 13 core units (18 credit points, 324 contact hours) across two semesters.

Students will undertake a pre-learning program of three weeks’ duration, covering Python programming, college-level calculus, linear algebra, and probability, and an introduction to Generative AI, before they begin their coursework.

Pathway to global opportunities

On successfully completing PAIB, students can apply to transition directly into Year 2 of SP Jain Global's Master of Artificial Intelligence in Business (MAIB), completed on-campus at the Dubai or Sydney campus.

The MAIB program will deepen students' expertise in AI foundations, principles and techniques. They will apply this learning through projects that solve real-world problems in retail, manufacturing, finance and other industries.

About SP Jain Global's Master of AI in Business

SP Jain Global's Master of Artificial Intelligence in Business (MAIB) is a 2-year full-time interdisciplinary program, delivered on-campus at our Dubai or Sydney campus. It combines AI foundations, principles and techniques with core business subjects such as economics, accounting, finance, and marketing, and is designed to meet a growing shortage of professionals who understand both the technology and the business need it solves.

Australian-accredited degree:

Graduates earn a degree accredited by Australia's Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), at AQF Level 9.

Bridges tech and business:

Coursework includes projects that apply AI to real problems in retail, manufacturing, finance, and other industries.

Note: This program is not accredited or approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), or any other regulatory body in India.

Undergraduate degree +

All applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline from a recognised university or other approved tertiary institution which includes satisfactory completion of at least four units of Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Science or another quantitative discipline.

English language proficiency +

  • All applicants must have completed their education as detailed above in English and must provide certified evidence to the School.
  • Applicants who have not completed their most recent education qualifications in English are required to take any of the following recognised formal English language tests and obtain currently valid minimum scores as below:
    • IELTS overall score of 6.5, or
    • TOEFL iBT overall score of 70, or
    • PTE overall score of 60
  • International applicants (including those who have completed their most recent education qualifications in English) who are undertaking study at our Sydney campus may need to meet the English language test requirements detailed by the Australian Government to obtain their student visas.   • Only test scores obtained in the last 2 years are valid. This is also a mandatory requirement for a student to obtain an Australian visa.

Step 2: Personal Interview +

  • All shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a personal interview at one of the School's campuses or online with a member of the School's academic staff.
  • The interview is designed to assess the applicant's communication skills, analytical skills, aptitude and subject knowledge.
  • The personal interview is an additional vetting of students for behavioural and other traits so that SP Jain can proactively ensure that all students admitted are in the best position to complete the program successfully and achieve learning outcomes. This reduces the likelihood of ‘student at risk’ issues.

All shortlisted applicants are required to pay a non-refundable evaluation fee of INR 4,500.

Step 3: Results +

Results will be declared approximately within 14 days after the evaluation interviews.
