Featuring a dynamic alumnus in our Alumni Speak segment this week, we interacted with GMBA Alumni, Sushmeet Singh to know more about what how his S P Jain experience contributed to his personal growth and career trajectory.

Sushmeet, was a computer science engineer prior to his MBA from a leading institute. He graduated from S P Jain in 2009 following the successful completion of his MBA program specialising in IT. He has grown to be a highly accomplished professional with 9+ years of experience in BFSI, MRD, Public Sector Domain conceptualizing ideas, sizing opportunities, building operations, leading highly successful new business development initiatives, account management and ventures in Software sales business.

“S P Jain is an excellent Launchpad for not only academic learning but also for strengthening a strong Alumni network and understanding industry trends so that students are geared up to be a part of this competitive network”, commented Sushmeet when asked to summarise about his S P Jain experience. “I wanted to shift my career from back office job to leading the discussions in Sales & Business Development. The program was extremely fruitful and till date I am able to leverage the learnings, strenuous routines, discipline & ability to execute what we were taught during the course”, he added, highlighting the positive impact the course had on his career.

Sushmeet Singh is currently Territory Sales Manager for Oracle Systems Limited based in the UAE. His strong passion, customer focus approach, a perfect blend of value & relationship selling makes him a very dedicated and favourable employee. He was the first sales person globally for Oracle Corporation to sign on the first customer to adopt end-to-end solution stack on cloud. He has consistently overachieved his YOY targets at Oracle. Recognising the talent that Sushmeet bring in to his organisation, in 2013, he was awarded Oracle Club Excellence Award for over achieving his targets in the FY13 fiscal of Oracle.
