Jaishankar Talreja is a practitioner who loves to teach. Since 2016, he has relied on his real-life advisory experience to redefine learning experiences in the area of Finance and Business Planning for 150+ entrepreneurs every year at the Global Family Managed Business (GFMB) program of SP Jain School of Global Management.
After qualifying as a CA at the age of 22 from Ernst & Young in 2003, he has excelled in handholding business owners in realising their true potential through business planning and finance transformation.
He started his career with a KPMG partner where they helped a home textile manufacturer exporter for 2.5 years in making a business plan, laying the foundation to implement it (Processes, ERP, Performance Management, MIS) and successfully raised INR 25 crore of private equity. He has also been handholding West India’s largest chain of watch stores since 2016 on finance transformation – starting with business reorganisation/consolidation of a dozen entities into one – and achieving significant operational, administrative and tax efficiency in the process. In 2022, he started helping the owner of a mini-conglomerate in outlining a roadmap for achieving financial stability by analysing and restructuring his portfolio.
