An engineer at heart, I truly believe that management is at the core of growth – the knowledge of engineering can only be nurtured with the skill of management. When I decided to pursue my postgraduate degree at SP Jain, I chose Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management (GLSCM) even though I had absolutely no experience in the industry – this is a field that had always piqued my interest. Today, I can proudly say that I don’t regret my decision even a bit.

People often ask me why I decided to pursue an MBA in Marketing. I am a graduate in law, and while I had studied marketing in a correspondence course before, I always wanted to pursue my master’s degree in a dynamic and competitive environment. During my time in Singapore, I wanted to take part in the marathon there. Unfortunately, I couldn’t because we had an exam scheduled the day after the marathon. I happened to once tell one of our professors, Dr. William Thomson, about my interest in running and how I was thinking of running a marathon. He told me how I should consider running the Sydney marathon since it was scheduled to take place while I was in Sydney and there were no exams scheduled close to the date of the marathon.
