The visit was a valuable learning experience, especially as a Data Science undergraduate currently exploring cloud computing and AWS. Until now, I had primarily learned about concepts such as virtual machines, cloud infrastructure, and Amazon EC2 through theory. Visiting an actual data centre helped me connect these concepts with their real-world applications and understand the physical infrastructure behind the digital services we use every day.
