Quality leadership, engagement and culture are at the heart of SP Jain School of Global Management. I write this as it all started with a simple email from our President, Nitish Jain, triggered by a conversation with our Global Director (Counseling & Coaching Center) based in Dubai, Bijal Oza, on how we should use this lockdown period amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic for doing good things like building immunity, learning something or looking after elderly people.

Nadit Khatri is not only an SP Jain School of Global Management MGB student but also an active traveller and avid learner. Having been featured in various media, he is famed for travelling all over India – on a motorbike! His travel covered over 44,480 km while being on the road for over 1 year and 2 months. With a passion to travel, follow his journey with SP Jain Global as the tri-city education satisfies both his wanderlust and work goals. This is his story.

My story started on January 9, 2016, when I first moved to Singapore. Before this, I was working as a vet and an export technical manager of a pharmaceutical company based in Italy. Having completed my PhD in Veterinary Medicine, my studies opened several lucrative doors for me in the agro-zoo-veterinary sector. However, my goal was to start managing a leading organisation and increase their performance, and I had absolutely no experience in this area.

The Global Immersion Project (GIP) is a unique, creative and collaborative industry interface project initiative undertaken by the students of our Global MBA program, where we deploy our students with select reputed organisations in Singapore. Students are assigned a Business Challenge with the theme “Growth, Innovation and Strategy”, and at the end of their project, they provide strategic recommendations to address the business challenges under study.  These projects help encourage the strategic decision-making capability amongst our students in real-life business scenarios.
