As this is a post-graduate program, Master’s degree, the candidate must already be a university graduate to apply. Preference is given to those with additional relevant post-graduate qualifications.
The candidate must have a minimum of three years of full time work experience.
Candidates must have completed their secondary education in English. If required, candidates may need to provide an authorized statement confirming this.
There is no application fee.
Fill out the application form. This can be done online. Please save, print, or copy the online form for your future reference.
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, i.e., applications will be evaluated as and when these are received. The sooner you apply, the better your chances for being selected.
Candidates only need to submit one application, but may apply for two specialisations with a single application. Admission is offered for only one specialisation, and the applicant cannot make changes to the offer. Submitting more than one application form may disqualify a candidate for admission.
A small percentage of applicants come from a family business who desire to initiate an entrepreneurial venture, or from employees taking a leave of absence from their present employers (with a commitment to re-join them). The eligibility criteria for admission remain the same for these candidates. Such candidates are not a part of the placement services.
If you do not desire placement services, mark the relevant box in the application form. Candidates accepted under "non-placements" cannot change to “placement category”.
November 16, 2015, is the last date to apply. All applications must be received before this date.
S P Jain requires candidates to take one of the following aptitude tests: GMAT, CAT or SPJAT (S P Jain Aptitude Test). Candidates may apply even if they have not yet taken the aptitude test, or if their scores are pending. However, candidates will not be shortlisted for evaluation until they submit final test scores. S P Jain accepts the best score from any of these tests.
While candidates’ overall profiles are considered, students with a GMAT of less than 650, CAT of less than the 80 percentile, or SPJAT scores of less than the 80th percentile are rarely admitted. S P Jain accepts GMAT scores for tests undertaken from December 1, 2012, CAT results declared in January 2014 and January 2015, and S P Jain Aptitude Test scores for tests undertaken from December 2013 onwards.
Aptitude Test FeeUSD 40 (Non-refundable)
As the S P Jain aptitude test is an internal exam, and one of the several criteria used to evaluate candidates for admission into the Global MBA program, the score will not be declared. Candidates will be informed via email whether or not their score meets S P Jain's entry requirements.
Detailed procedure for the aptitude test, its payment, and its centers, will all be uploaded on the website prior to the test.
The admissions team will shortlist applications based on past academic performance, aptitude test scores, work experience, extracurricular activities, and other achievements. Shortlisted candidates are required to visit one of the selection centers for further evaluation. This test includes writing essays, analyzing case studies, and undergoing a personal interview. The evaluation centers of S P Jain are in Dubai, Singapore, Sydney and India.
Candidates are required to pay an evaluation fee as below:
USD 50 (Non-refundable)
Approximately three to five working days after the evaluations, candidates are notified as to three potential outcomes: (a) acceptance
(b) waitlist (c) regret. Only candidates who have been offered admission will be notified via email.
Candidates may view their post evaluation status on the S P Jain website. They should also read through the FAQ section on the website for further clarifications.
