BECOME A SKILLED PROJECT MANAGER AND LEADER
SP Jain’s Advanced Project Management and Strategic Leadership (APMSL) is a 6-month program developed in collaboration with Nulearn, a leading EdTech company. The program is designed to help you gain specialised skills in project management and business leadership and help you grow as a strategic leader for decision-making in a project-based environment.
The course is divided into interactive modules and delivered in an engaging, live online format. The modules include the application of knowledge, tools and techniques necessary to implement projects. As a Project Leader, you will learn how to manage stakeholders and uncertainty and build relationships for a value-based project outcome.
Note: This program is not recognised by TEQSA, ASQA, AICTE or any other regulatory body in India or overseas and does not lead to a qualification recognised within the Australian Qualifications Framework.
This program will allow students to study partly in Mumbai (which is the financial capital of India and, most importantly, the biggest consumer market for luxury products in India) and in Milan (which is the business hub of Italy and the fashion capital of the world – home to more than half of the world’s top luxury brands and designers). Candidates will gain first-hand understanding of the luxury industry in Europe and the application of marketing, sales and retail concepts in emerging markets like India.
From brand creation to innovation, from luxury supply chain management to retailing, all the content will be addressed using a triple perspective. First, professors will introduce tools and methodologies useful to understand the luxury industry processes. Second, managers will discuss the practical implications of the studied theories, sharing their success stories with participants. Finally, a study tour through half a dozen of the most important luxury districts in Italy and Europe (from German cars to watches in Switzerland, to leather and champagne in France) will allow students an up, close and personal view of the processes behind-the-scene, with factory and showroom tours and meeting with managers and executives.
The Indian luxury market has seen a significant shift in both the perception and the consumption of luxury. This market requires highly skilled and trained leaders who are able to adapt to the complex conundrum of change.
On this note, we, at SP Jain School of Global Management, invite all the future luxury leaders into the MGLuxM community. Precision, Commitment and Excellence are some of the core values that are embodied by all our MGLuxM students.
During Term 1 in Mumbai, Visual Merchandising (VM) was one of my favourite subjects. Term 2 in Milan covered intriguing topics like brand identity, customer journey mapping, and customer experience in a retail scenario. The combined knowledge helped me realise how customer behaviour can be predicted using VM, and I apply this learning in my daily work even today.
SP Jain and MIP gave me the opportunity to be a part of the European culture that enabled me to study the European market. This helped me negotiate and crack the interview questions. Working with Roger Vivier has allowed me to put theory into practice and implement what I studied.
Before joining SP Jain, I was working as a Doc Prep and Certifications Officer at HSBC Mortgage Services (Australia). I chose to specialise in Luxury Management as I was passionate about quality lifestyle and high standard of living. My experience at SP Jain has been enriching. The industry visits organised by the School in the niche sector stood out for me. This one-year journey has taught me how to market luxury to the fast-paced industry.
I chose the Luxury Management program as I was fascinated with the industry and was intrigued to learn more. The program has helped me understand marketing strategies and develop skills like business communication, conflict resolution, competitive analysis, team building and teamwork, local awareness and having an eye for detail. I gained a unique perspective of the Indian and the European luxury markets. Our professors shared valuable inputs that helped us prepare for interviews. Studying at SP Jain gave me the leverage on my CV to negotiate for better opportunities.
