Global MBA – May’17 students at Singapore Receive Brilliant Feedbacks for Global Immersion Projects

The Global Immersion Project (GIP) is a unique, creative and collaborative industry interface project initiative undertaken by the students of our Global MBA program, where we deploy our students with select reputed organisations in Singapore. Students are assigned a Business Challenge with the theme “Growth, Innovation and Strategy”, and at the end of their project, they provide strategic recommendations to address the business challenges under study.  These projects help encourage the strategic decision-making capability amongst our students in real-life business scenarios.

Working as an advisor to the Bureaucrats of Government of India on progressive initiatives and reforms like Make in India and Swachh Bharat with a BIG4 company (KPMG), Shivani has also been winning accolades at numerous beauty pageants, having recently won the Mrs. India Queen of Substance 2018.

Climbing My Mount Everest: Kapil Thairani (GMBA’18) writes about his placement at Google

 

My journey to the base camp started on January 11, 2018 – the day I was told that my profile had been shortlisted for placement at Google. It took some time for this news to sink in. “This is just the beginning of the battle. You need to prepare yourself mentally!” an inner voice kept telling me. Slowly, I geared my mind for the arduous climb. With a conversion rate of 0.2% for any candidate joining as a Noogler (new joinees at Google), this was going to be no easy task.
