SP Jain’s Bachelor of Data Science is a 3-year full-time undergraduate program designed to prepare graduates who can conduct data-driven investigations and visual and advanced analytics by acquiring and managing data of all types. Through this program, graduates will develop an in-depth understanding of data science and the techniques for analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to arrive at solutions. They will be able to identify patterns to predict trends by analysing data from various sectors such as manufacturing, banking and finance, retail and healthcare.

Program Type: Australian undergraduate degree program (accredited by TEQSA)

Program Duration: 3 years full-time

Study Format and Location: 
September 2026: Year 1: Sydney/Mumbai (via DSP) | Years 2 & 3: Sydney)

Eligibility: Grade 12 applicants

Admissions open:  September 2026

Have the option to apply for a post-study work visa of up to 2 years in Australia.

Upon completing your BDS degree, you may be able to continue to live and work in Australia by applying for a post-study work visa of up to 2 years.

The Data Science Program (DSP) is a 9-month professional program designed for students who prefer to begin their studies closer to home. It mirrors the first two semesters of SP Jain Global’s BDS and provides a strong foundation in programming, mathematics, statistics, and analytics. On successful completion of the DSP, students can progress directly into Year 2 of the BDS program at the school’s Sydney campus, with recognition of prior learning for the DSP units completed.
