Why-study

Why study wealth management in India & Dubai?

Key industry trends highlight a growing demand for wealth management professionals in India and Dubai:

  • India’s wealth management sector is expected to grow at a CAGR of 12% to 15% over the next five years. (EY forecast)¹
  • The surge in HNW and UHNW individuals in India has created a talent shortage in wealth management, driving competition and lateral movement within firms. (Hubbis report) ²
  • Dubai is set for a 60% increase in UHNWIs by 2026³, positioning it as the wealthiest hub in Middle East, with a collective net worth exceeding AED 3.7 trillion.

Start your journey in Mumbai

Mumbai, India’s financial powerhouse, offers unmatched opportunities for aspiring wealth managers. Home to the Bombay Stock Exchange, multinational corporations, thriving SMEs, and entertainment, the city is a global finance hub driving India’s economic growth.

According to the 2024 Hurun India Rich List⁴, India added 94 new billionaires, the most by any country other than the US and China. With a total wealth of US$ 1 trillion—7% of global wealth—Mumbai has surpassed Beijing as the “billionaire capital of Asia.”

This rapid growth presents vast career opportunities in wealth management. By studying in Mumbai, you’ll gain firsthand exposure to this booming market, graduating with the skills and network needed for a successful career in this field.
