SP Jain’s Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is a doctoral program designed to meet the needs of high-achieving professionals who wish to enhance their business education through original research. The program builds on the business acumen of previously undertaken graduate studies, using global intelligence as a tool to solve business problems.

It inspires you to develop new perspectives and approach business in an innovative way; it offers you the opportunity to study a real business issue in depth and immediately apply that knowledge in your working life, directly improving commercial outcomes within your organisation and beyond. It offers all the academic rigour of a traditional PhD but is largely tailored to corporate executives and researchers who want a qualification that is practical and relevant to the organisation they work for.

FOCUS ON APPLIED RESEARCH AND BUILD NEW SKILLS

SP Jain’s DBA program starts with structured coursework designed to build research competencies, followed by a research project that enables you to apply those competencies to add to or improve current business practices. This will help you develop new skills, including Knowledge of Business Research, Research and Business Intelligence, Research Problem Solving and Decision Making, Creativity and Innovation, Communication, Intercultural Competence, and Autonomy and Accountability of the Research.

The coursework classes for both face-to-face in Sydney and online formats are scheduled only on weekends, and the one-on-one sessions for the research phase are scheduled at your convenience.

If you opt to study on-campus in Sydney, you can benefit from the brilliant opportunities Australia offers. The current national minimum wage in Australia is AUD 23.23 per hour as of July 2023. Students can work part-time up to 48 hours per fortnight during their coursework and full-time during their research phase.

ELIGIBLE AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS CAN APPLY FOR A FEE-HELP LOAN

SP Jain degrees are approved for FEE-HELP (Higher Education Loan Program). Eligible Australian citizens can apply for FEE-HELP to study SP Jain’s DBA program.
The FEE-HELP is a loan from the Australian Government for eligible higher education students to pay tuition fees. You cannot use it for accommodation, laptops, or textbooks.
If eligible, FEE-HELP can cover all or part of your tuition fees up to a maximum amount, which is the FEE-HELP loan limit. The amount you repay each year is a percentage of your income.
