The BEC advantage: Graduate in just 2.5 years

What you’ll build along the way:

  • Hard skills in econometrics, data analysis, business intelligence, behavioural economics, climate change economics, and the quantitative toolkit employers actively seek.
  • A global outlook that sets you apart. You’ll learn how policy decisions in one market ripple across regions and why global context matters.
  • Real-world experience. Through focused Regional Immersion and Capstone Projects, you’ll tackle live economic challenges faced by businesses and governments.
  • Real career readiness through professional mock interviews, targeted resume workshops, direct recruiter interactions, and placement support from teams who understand the economics job market.
  • Gain a global outlook by analysing international markets, policies, and emerging economic trends, equipping you to thrive in an evolving global economy.

Where this degree takes you

Economics graduates enter the workforce with strong earning potential. In Australia, where you'll complete the final terms of the program and graduate, entry-level economists earn between AUD 62,500-74,700, rising to AUD 98,000-103,000 with experience, and higher in senior roles.

Your Australian degree opens doors across banking, government, consulting, data analytics, and research—sectors actively hiring economics graduates for roles in policy analysis, financial modelling, market research, and strategic planning.

The combination of quantitative skills, global perspective, and practical experience positions you competitively whether you're job-hunting in Sydney, pursuing a master's degree, or exploring opportunities back home
