CHOOSE BETWEEN TWO FLEXIBLE LEARNING FORMATS
SP Jain offers its GFMB program in two formats – a Tri-city Learning Format with face-to-face classes in Mumbai/Delhi, Dubai and Singapore and a Blended Learning Format, which comprises online lectures and face-to-face classes at one of SP Jain’s global campuses. Both formats are designed to allow you to study without disrupting your work for your family business. Regardless of the format, all students graduate with a certificate in Global Family Managed Business from SP Jain School of Global Management.
Industry Exposure visits will play a crucial role in your learning experience. You will have the opportunity to enhance your education by participating in immersive visits to some of India’s and the world’s top companies while engaging with senior executives and leaders, gaining practical real-world perspective on different functions within organisations, and enhance your critical thinking to take your family business to the next level.
Build exposure to the application of management
During SP Jain’s Industry Exposure visits, students are exposed to different management practices of leading businesses across India and around the world, helping them gain an understanding of how a management concept is suitably modified and adapted to the employee needs of an organisation before being applied to the organisation.
Understand diverse processes followed by leading Indian and global industries
A garment manufacturing unit in Gujarat, a precision electronic chip manufacturing firm in Korea and a hydroponic farming start-up in the UAE follow manufacturing processes that are vastly different from each other. The GFMB Program Industry Exposure visits across India and the world are designed to help students experience the diversity in these processes, dive deep into the complexities faced by each industry, and critically reflect on them.
Gain valuable insights that can be applied to your family business
During their interaction with diverse industries and organisations, students are exposed to the various manufacturing and management processes successfully implemented by these industries that help streamline production. This learning goes a long way in helping students understand what works and what doesn’t, giving them the opportunity to adapt and apply the useful methods within the context of their family businesses.
Consolidate strong and long-lasting relationships
Our students often agree that one of the best things about undertaking a GFMB Program Industry Exposure visit at SP Jain is the network that they build. Not only do students get to build a network with the staff and senior management of the organisations they are visiting but also get the opportunity to gel with their peers and forming long-lasting relationships that benefit them both professionally and personally.
You will be exposed to a powerful group of industry stalwarts and experts who will challenge, motivate and inspire you. Our guest speakers are hand-picked for their renowned family business expertise, and come from diverse industries, with decades of rich industry experience.
