Dr Debashis Guha is the Director of the Master of Artificial Intelligence in Business program at SP Jain School of Global Management. He has worked in the fields of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning since the 1990s in the US A and India and was has the founded r of a BangaloreBengaluru-based data science company in India.
Dr Guha He has taught at several US universities, consulted for major multinational corporations, central banks, and governments worldwide, and published research papers in top-rated peer-reviewed journals.
He Dr Guha has a Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, a Master's degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, and a PhD from Columbia University in the City of New York.

The Postgraduate Program in AI in Business (PAIB) is a 10-month professional program designed for students who prefer to begin their studies closer to home. It mirrors the first two semesters of SP Jain Global’s MAIB and gives students practical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence alongside core business knowledge. On successful completion of the PAIB, students are eligible to apply for entry into Year 2 of the MAIB program at SP Jain Global's Dubai or Sydney campus.
Note: Admission to the MAIB program is subject to approval by SP Jain Global’s Admissions Committee. The PAIB is a professional program and is not accredited under the Australian Qualifications Framework. It is not recognised by UGC, AICTE or any other regulatory body in India.
MAIB program overview
The Master of Artificial Intelligence in Business is a 2-year full-time interdisciplinary program that covers the foundations, principles, and techniques of AI, as well as business subjects such as economics, accounting, finance, and marketing. In addition to learning the theory, students will work on many projects that apply AI to practical problems in retail, manufacturing, finance, and other businesses.

- Eligibility: Undergraduate degree*
- Degree Type: Graduate with an Australian degree (accredited by TEQSA, Australia)

Program Overview
SP Jain’s Master of Artificial Intelligence in Business is a 2-year full-time postgraduate program that will cover the foundations, principles and techniques of AI, as well as business subjects such as economics, accounting, finance and marketing. In addition to learning the theory, students will work on various projects that apply AI to practical problems in retail, manufacturing, finance and many other businesses.
Students can choose to study both years of the program full-time on-campus in Dubai (starting October 2021) or in a flexible online format (starting November 2021) or on-campus in Sydney* (starting February 2022). Regardless of the format, all students graduate with the same degree – an Australian-accredited Master of Artificial Intelligence in Business degree.
