On 22nd January 2025, eleven Hospitality Business Leadership (HBL) students from SP Jain Global during a field visited The Oberoi and Trident Hotels, Nariman Point to witness luxury hospitality.
The visit began with a session at The Oberoi, Mumbai, a renowned 5-star hotel known for its service and guest focus. During a presentation for the HBL students, they learned about the group’s core values, its use of Artificial intelligence and digital marketing to boost operations, and the importance of strong crisis management in hospitality.
After the session, students were split into two groups for guided tours of The Oberoi and Trident Hotels. These tours gave them a close-up view of how luxury hotels work, covering everything from front desk operations and food service to guest interaction and eco-friendly practices.
Key learning outcomes for students
This visit made academic concepts come to life, offering the HBL students a deeper understanding of industry practices and preparing them for roles in a competitive field.
