SP Jain Global opened its doors to a dynamic and diverse group of students in October, marking the beginning of its Master of Science in International Hospitality Business (MIHB) program. This inaugural cohort represents a powerhouse of talent, with expertise spanning various fields, from culinary arts and wedding planning to sales and marketing, resort management, and residential hotels. These students bring a wealth of experience to the classroom, having previously worked with renowned hospitality brands such as Le Méridien, Marriott International, and Taj Hotels.

Over the next few months in Mumbai, these aspiring hospitality professionals will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in India's renowned hospitality culture through field visits to hotels and other hospitality businesses. During the second term, they will have the incredible opportunity to study in the picturesque town of Bulle, Switzerland. Beyond the classrooms, they will explore the heritage, culture, and breathtaking beauty of Switzerland, a country synonymous with luxury and hospitality. The program will culminate with students having the option to choose between a business research project or a professional internship, allowing them to supplement their academic learning with vital real-world industry experience.

“The Master of Science in International Hospitality Business (MIHB) program is the latest addition to S P Jain Global's offerings, embodying our commitment to nurturing a new generation of leaders in the field of international hospitality,” shared Smita Jain, Director of SP Jain Global’s MGLuxM and MIHB program. “This partnership with Glion offers a unique opportunity for students to gain insights from experts in the industry and be exposed to the rich traditions and innovations of the European hospitality sector. This international experience will be crucial in shaping the future of hospitality education.”
