We cross paths with numerous people every day and we often realize how every face has a different story to tell. On 8th November 2016, S P Jain provided the cohort of Mumbai with the opportunity to understand the life of Rahil Nadiadwala, a simple man whose struggles have made him the Assistant Director that every major Film production company in Bollywood wants. Mr. Rahil started the lecture off by ensuring that the students would look at the upcoming 2 hours as an informal discussion.

The class could immediately connect with Mr. Rahil on a personal level when stories of his notorious school days were shared. The lecture progressed with Mr. Rahil talking about the different struggles one faces when trying to decide a career choice for themselves without exploring all the options presented. He believes that a degree could indeed provide you with stability and job security but if after working for merely 5 hours in day you are longingly looking at your watch, the purpose of investing your time is lost. Throughout his lecture, the students could understand various life lessons without even experiencing the burden of it. He ended the lecture with a simple quote that, hopefully, would last a lifetime, “The finest of steel has to go through the hottest of fire, and the hotter the fire, the finer the steel.”
