Paris – a city often called the heart of fashion and luxury, became a living classroom for the Batch 15 students of our Global Luxury Goods & Services Management (MGLuxM) program. Over four days, the group explored not just the famous maisons and landmarks, but also the subtle details and craftsmanship that define French luxury.

From the design legacies showcased at Galerie Dior and the Worth Exhibition to the sensory artistry revealed at Fragonard – Le Musée du Parfum, students experienced how heritage and creativity together build the foundations of luxury.

Luxury in Paris went beyond haute couture, unfolding in the underground cellars of Pommery and Lanson, where craftsmanship has been perfected over centuries.

Learning extended well beyond traditional visits as students stepped into the customer’s perspective through a mystery shopping exercise, honed problem-solving skills in interactive workshops, and enjoyed cultural exchange over a shared meal at L’Edito.

This study tour positioned Paris not just as the capital of fashion but as an open textbook of luxury. Students experienced firsthand how theory connects to practice and how the sector balances heritage with modern demands.
