Despite the heavy monsoons in Mumbai, the analytical enthusiasts turned up in large numbers to attend the event and gain a comprehensive view on different segments in the marketing and BSFI domains.

Mr. Mufazzal spoke extensively on various topics such as acquiring the right customers, increasing the profitability by applying the right techniques, personalising the interactions, and lastly, developing customer retention strategies – areas that are the key highlights of marketing analytics.

Post this session, the team launched a hands-on workshop to discuss and solve a case study on designing an email strategy for HacKart- a well-known e-commerce portal for the hackers. The session was led by Manoj Maan and Rohit Kumar, along with the AV volunteers. The main aim of this workshop was to help the audience understand a business case and convert it into a mathematical problem, thus strategising the issue and modelling its solution. The team used R as a tool to build the model and the related visualisations.

The event provided a great platform to the audience to network with like-minded analytical individuals and know the latest trends in the analytics industry.
