S P Jain School of Global Management & DAMCO International have signed a landmark partnership agreement on March 26, 2012 in Dubai. Mr. Nitish Jain, President, S P Jain School of Global Management and Mr. Karsten Breum, Vice President and Head of Human Resources, DAMCO International, Denmark signed this agreement in the presence of other top executives from both the organizations.
S P Jain will be partnering DAMCO International - a part of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group in conducting the global modules of the DAMCO International Graduate Program. Forty selected Graduate Executives from DAMCO International - of 24 different nationalities will be attending the modules to be held in Dubai, Singapore and Copenhagen over a period of 2 years.
The DAMCO International Graduate Program provides an opportunity for its graduate executives to hone their business skills under the mentorship of seasoned S P Jain faculty, DAMCO International executives and industry professionals. Cross-functional exposure is not the only outcome of the management program. The diversity in the graduates attending the program and the 3-city model aim to sensitize the graduates to the business needs of 3 global logistics hubs and promote a global mindset.
As a partner, S P Jain School of Global Management given its one-year Global MBA program, ranked in the top 1% by Financial Times and accredited by the AMBA-UK and ABEST21, Japan, was a discerning one. Moreover, it is a 2-city (and shortly to be a 3-city) model and has global applicants. S P Jain School of Global Management also offers an MBA in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management a contemporary course that is well recognized among Logistics and Supply Chain firms internationally. The faculty from Logistics & Supply chain, Marketing, Finance, Strategy and Human Resources bring with them vast industry and academic experience. Faculty from S P Jain have been instrumental in designing the program that has been tailor-made to suit the requirements of DAMCO International. They will also instruct and mentor the graduates during the course of the program. The first two modules will be carried out at the S P Jain campuses in Dubai and Singapore. The third module will be carried out in Copenhagen, Denmark. This agreement highlights the growing worldwide recognition of S P Jain School of Global Management as a premier institution of excellence and higher learning.
