"UAE and the region is becoming an increasingly competitive market and being able to generate such a huge response from the corporate sector is flattering, to say the least. But the real credit goes to the richness, rigor and pedagogy of the program and the international credentials of our faculty that has resulted in the high caliber of our students, who deserve to be hired by the world's best companies." "Since its inception, the program has focused on imparting the latest management concepts and practices that are relevant to the regional and global market. All four streams of specialization that we teach are industries that are booming in the region. In addition to class work, we also lay great stress on giving practical knowledge to our students through case studies, research and fieldwork. These are the primary requisites that the corporate world is seeking when hiring its future managers and this factor has been the key to the success of our placement initiatives." Out of a total batch of 97 students, 27 have specialized in Investment Banking, 16 in Wealth Management, 34 in Retail Management and 20students in Hospitality Management.
The following leading companies in the Middle East
have recruited our students:
Those students who opted for returning to India were placed with leading Indian companies as mentioned below at an average salary of Rs. 5.50 lacs.

The global financial markets have never been so complex, interrelated or significant to the economic destinies of governments, companies and individuals worldwide. Yet, it is impossible to understand a phenomenon as complicated as the markets without a blend of theory and practice. We live in a world where psychology and the herd instinct are as powerful as economic theories in explaining the offshore flows of capital that move across the planet at the speed of light. I found to my delight that my previous learning of pre-medicine and training in software engineering was only too relevant to my career ambitions in international wealth management. Hence, I consciously designed an academic internship program that sought to position myself for and earn the right to be selected as a financial advisor on Wall Street's leading global private client brokerage firm. As Michael Lewis wrote in Liar's Poker, it is a jungle out there on Wall Street, you need the right jungle guide and fortunately enough I found the right jungle guide on campus. May the Force be with all the young jedis of S P Jain!
"Placements at S P Jain Center of Management, Dubai this year have been truly path breaking in terms of diversity in sector, profiles offered and compensation packages. This can be attributed to a lot of things that S P Jain stands by. The courses are greatly industry focused and help in providing a clear insight of the industry. This has equipped me not only with knowledge in my functional domain but also with techniques and ability to apply it within a business perspective. The institute is truly committed to team based learning which helps one to interact and learn from fellow students creating a wonderful learning environment. There was great emphasis on group projects, presentation skills and adhering to strict deadlines. These skills are crucial in developing good work ethics. I was extremely fortunate to have great faculty and tutors throughout my degree. Doing MBA from S P Jain was a springboard for the best job in Dubai for me. And I am sure my degree will continue to open doors again and again"
Engineering has taught me to think logically and work hard to earn money. So after my Engineering in REC, Calicut I started my career with Bajaj Auto Ltd. After 3 years of working in the manufacturing sector, I was thirsty for financial knowledge and hence decided to join an MBA school. The next task was to get into any of the best B-schools, and the preferred choice was S P Jain, Dubai which has a very strong brand name. A one year intensive PGDM Program with a super specialization in Investment Banking, and a placement opportunity in the tax free country - Dubai made me more keen to join S P Jain. Today, S P Jain has satisfied all my needs by offering a high quality education, taught by the best of faculty from institutes like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, XLRI and many more such institutions. The course has been highly intensive but at the end of the day it has paid off and I have been placed with Citibank as an Assistant Manager with an excellent package. The strong S P Jain network in the corporate world has capitalized to bring in Big names to campus. Does this not sound like a very high R.O.C.E (Return On Capital Employed)!.
My reasons for pursuing an MBA were twofold to get an insight into the business world, develop the relevant skills and tools, and to pursue an international career with a global firm. I choose S P Jain for its close ties with the business world, its one-year program, and for its location. Clearly, compared to Indian counterparts the international profile of S P Jain is a strong differentiator. Whether it is the ability to carry out real-life projects, the summer internship, the outstanding location, or the international exposure amidst the best retailers across the globe Its exciting, challenging and exhilarating! The learning experience that results from this multicultural setting should not be underestimated. Moreover, the Schools environment allows and encourages you not only to work with your colleagues, but to fully enjoy and discover those who will be your lifelong friends. S P Jain was one of the best investments I could have made. It has played a major role in strengthening my self-confidence and knowledge. I am certain that I will be a better professional and a more informed decision maker because of the time I have spent here. While the work is voluminous and challenging, the environment is collegiate, supportive and above all fun and has helped me shape my career direction into a leading brand in the GCC. In all, it was a remarkable experience.
