Scholarships
Scholarship Criteria

S P Jain very selectively offers scholarships and/or low-interest loans to meritorious and needy participants. Once participants have been offered enrollment in the Global MBA Program, S P Jain will accept applications for these scholarships and loans. All participants receiving scholarships must maintain a required GPA and abide by the Code of Conduct during the course of the program.


Criteria

Applicants must fulfill three of the following criteria in order to apply for a scholarship:

  • Outstanding academic achievement (minimum of 75% in all years of education – 10th, 12th, and each year of graduation)
  • High entrance exam test scores: GMAT: minimum 720, CAT/SPJAT: minimum 95th percentile
  • Outstanding achievements in other areas including academics, social service, sports, or other extra-curricular activities.
  • Graduation from a top-ranked institution.
  • Exceptional post-graduate qualification such as Chartered Accountant or other graduate work/certificates.

Requirements

Applications for scholarship must include the following:

  • Detailed Resume.
  • Short essay indicating why you should be given the scholarship and which are the criteria you meet.
  • Mark sheets (10th, 12th, all years of graduation, post-graduation if applicable).
  • CAT/GMAT score sheet.
  • Certificates pertaining to outstanding achievements in the areas of academics, sports, social service, or extracurricular activity.
  • Appointment letter or work experience certificate from current employer.
  • Recent salary slips, IT returns (of self and parents) to indicate financial need.

How to apply for scholarship

A processing fee is attached.

Indian participants need to send a Mumbai encashable DD for Rs 500/- in the name of "S P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.”

International participants may make a payment for USD 20/- in the name of "S P Jain Education FZ LLC" payable at Dubai, or pay the amount in cash at our Singapore campus.

Applications can be sent to in a cover marked "Merit Scholarship/Loan Application" to any of the following persons at the addresses mentioned below. Applications must reach us by October 15, 2012. Any applications received after the close of working hours on October 15, 2012 will not be considered.

We will advise you by email no later than November 5, 2012 of the status of your application after screening. We would appreciate if participants would refrain from contacting us in the interim.

Note

  • The amount of the scholarship will be determined on the merits of each case.
  • Participants who meet 3 of the above 5 criteria will not automatically be awarded a scholarship. This only means that they are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
  • Scholarship decisions will be announced after or very close to the final fee payment deadline. Applicants will have to pay the complete fees by the final deadline. Those awarded scholarships will have any excess payment received credited to their account.
