Today’s business manager needs to be able to solve complex multidisciplinary problems. Managers need to be comfortable in a global business world, and able to understand different cultures and business practices. At S P Jain, our students practice decision making from day one, and globalization is at the heart of our philosophy. The approach to decision making is to augment traditional business subjects with projects that sharpen participants’ problem solving skills.
S P Jain’s cutting-edge approach to globalization includes our tri-city model. All of our GMBA students spend four months each in Sydney, Singapore, and Dubai. Students are introduced to local business practices, to the economic and political trends that will shape our business world, and learn how to work in cross-cultural teams.
The Applied Research Project and Action Learning Program exemplify the decision-making skill. The ARP is designed to help students apply research techniques to analyze broad-based industry patterns and problems. The Action Learning Program builds from the ARP and has students tackle a real problem facing an organizations and offer strategic recommendations to resolve the situation. The classroom is akin to a discussion laboratory for discovery-based learning.
At S P Jain you will be welcomed into an exciting new world. You will be challenged. You will expand your horizons. You will come out a more capable, ethical, and creative global citizen. We hope to welcome you to the world of S P Jain soon.
