Interactive Information Sessions
1 Do you have any information sessions for each course specialization?
 

No, we do not have any information sessions for a course specialization in specific. However, we hold several interactive sessions for our candidates where they will be able to interact with the program personnel for questions/doubts they may have in their minds. The session dates will be announced on the website.

2 How can I register for the information session? Is there any charge to attend a session?
 

You may either register for the interactive session or come directly to the venue on the specific date and time. There is no charge to attend the session. You may also bring other friends, associates, For the interactive session.

Visas, Loans and Scholarships
1 What would be the duration for which I would get the visas for both these countries?
 

You would get the visa for one year from the date of entry in the country or till the expiration of the program, whichever is earlier.

2 Do we need to make our own travel and visa arrangements or is it organized by your institute?
 

Visa will be processed by us. You can either make travel arrangements, or it can be organized by us.

3 Does S P Jain assist in obtaining loans from banks?
 

Yes, we do facilitate loans. You can apply for a loan to the banks recommended by us. Click to read more details.

4 Does S P Jain provide student scholarships/loans and if so what are the criteria?

Life at Campus ( DUBAI - SINGAPORE )

What kind of "On-Campus" housing do you provide? Do we get our own rooms? Do boys and girls live in separate housing?

 

Housing on both campuses is strictly on shared basis. In Dubai it will be in apartments and in Singapore you will be living in dormitories. Girls and boys will be put up separately in the apartments/dormitories, but in the same building.

2 What about food? Do you provide on-campus meals? Is vegetarian food available?
 

Various meal plans will be offered to you; both in Dubai and Singapore. Yes, there is vegetarian food available in Dubai and Singapore.

3 What about bed linen and towels? Do I need to carry my own?
 

Whilst we would give you bed linen (2 sets - anything over this would have to be arranged for by yourself) , you would need to carry towels.

4 What is the weather like year round in both these countries? What sort of clothes do I need to carry?
 

It is warm and humid year round in Singapore and it rains often. In Dubai it is very hot and dry in the months of March to October and cool from November to February. Thus you would need to carry clothing accordingly.

Placements/ Internship
1 Do you offer placement help to all your students? And are the placements centered in Dubai and Singapore only, or also in India and other parts of the world?
 

Placements are not only offered in Dubai or Singapore but in India and other countries as well. However, the focus is on placements in the Middle East, Singapore, the Far East and India. Our mother campus in Mumbai has an excellent placements record and placements at S P Jain Dubai-Singapore have been 100% for the past several years with students working for top Indian names in the corporate world. However, we do not guarantee any job at the end of the program.

2 What about work permits for working in Dubai or Singapore after graduation? Are they easily attainable?
 

Work visas are organized by the company, which offers a job. It is usually quite easy to get a work visa in Dubai and Singapore.

3 I shall be graduating out of the Dubai campus does this mean that I will be placed in Dubai only? 
 

The campus you finish out of has no bearing on where you will be placed. You can be placed, in Dubai, Singapore, India or anywhere else in the world, based on your preference, and the job location best suited to your needs and profile.
