At a gleaming event at Hotel Renaissance, S P Jain conferred MBA Degrees to around 170 graduates.

The special event was graced by the Guest of Honor - Mr. Rajeev Kakar, Executive Director & CEO of Dunia Finance, a leading financial services company based in the UAE along with Mr. Nitish Jain, President, S P Jain, Professor Christopher Abraham, Head - Dubai Campus and Sr. Vice President, Dr. Balakrishna Grandhi, Dean of the Executive MBA.

Presidential address by Mr. Nitish Jain reminded the graduating students of the importance of being 'prepared' in an increasingly uncertain world. The essence of his message was that tomorrow's world would only reward those who would make a 'difference'.

Dr Grandhi in his address spoke of the need for a new breed of executives and professionals known as "Corporate Athletes" always prepared and moving towards excellence. Dr Dawn stressed on the need for graduates to understand the importance of learning how to engage and motivate people and how presentation and soft skills were increasingly becoming important yardsticks of being a strong and influential leader.

The highlight of the evening's function was the keynote address delivered by the Guest of Honor and Dunia CEO Mr. Rajeev Kakar. In a rousing address, the gathering was captivated by his inspiring words that reminded graduates that convocation does not just mark the end of an academic program, but also signifies a new beginning in their life, and that life's lessons are all about doing things correctly and ethically. "The drivers of success in life are many but all are logical and closely connected. It is all about right values, belief in yourself and willingness to act. It is all about hope, execution and accomplishment", concluded Mr. Kakar.

The graduates then celebrated the occasion by tossing their graduation hats and marking the formal conclusion of the eventful program.

Dunia has previously partnered with S P Jain to provide academic courses for Emirati students and young professionals under the umbrella of its Emirati talent development scheme 'Kawader'.
