Sixty four students from 16 nations spanning all six inhabited continents embarked on a momentous journey on Monday, September 6, 2010 as they were inducted to S P Jain's newly inaugurated Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program.
President Nitish Jain of S P Jain School of Global Management expressed his boundless joy to be the world's first school to launch this unique Twin-City Program: students get this lifetime opportunity to spend the first two years at its Singapore campus and next two years at its Sydney Campus. "Living and studying in two different countries will broaden students' horizons and challenge them to think globally and innovatively", said President Jain.
Dean Dawn Dekle believes that 'Complete Education' offered by S P Jain's BBA gives the edge which is required today. An Education that stretches beyond Academics to test in the real-world environment: global thinking, being personally effective, being Professional, building character and taking critical decisions. "This Program will help students shape their personality and emerge as a confident leader", added Dr Dekle.
The BBA Program aims at creating a nurturing environment, where students are encouraged to pursue their academic and non-academic passions under close supervision. The program is accredited by the Department of Education and Training New South Wales, Australia, and students will thus graduate with an Australian degree.
It's a Global era today and S P Jain's BBA Program takes its first leap to inculcate a "Global Mindset" at an undergraduate level.
