African Business and Culture Expo March 18 and 19, 2011
At S P Jain School of Global Management in Singapore

(Singapore) - African students at the S P Jain School of Global Management hosted Dynamic Africa, an all-Africa Exhibition to showcase foreign direct investment and other business opportunities in Africa. The exhibition was held on Saturday and Sunday, March 18th and 19th, 2011, at the S P Jain Singapore campus.

Dynamic Africa, an event unlike any other, was organized particularly to enable students to understand the ideal global business decisions tactics equipped with both business and cultural acumen. Ambassadors of several African Nations in Singapore attended this event, including representatives from the embassies of Rwanda, Egypt, Republic of South Africa and Nigeria.

Moreover, S P Jain partnered with Nigerian students from the Singapore Informatics and Computer School, who prepared a documentary on African Culture and Business and performed African dance and drama. Furthermore, they performed an All-Africa Fashion Show where students walked the ramp in diverse African attires proudly flaunting the African sense of style. A presentation on "Business Opportunities in Africa" was addressed by two MBA students from S P Jain. Members of the Forensics Club of S P Jain's BBA recited excerpts from African literature, followed by the performance by the Dance Club on Waka Waka by Shakira. A friendly soccer match between African and non-African students was held on March 19 post which, VIP guests and students were treated to some delightful African snacks and a fun-filled African DJ night.

"The Dynamic Africa event aims at showcasing Africa's Business and Investment opportunities as well as its cultural, historic and natural heritage," said Jean Philbert Nsengimana, member of the core committee which organized this event. "S P Jain's commitment to being a global world-class business school has recently gained additional broad recognition with the FT rankings as the 9th best Asian B-School. The African community at S P Jain is glad to be part of the success story", he further added.

Events like Dynamic Africa display the truly international character of the S P Jain School of Global Management. It is one of the very few schools which add Africa to their focus from growing business opportunities in Asia and America.
