E-business Global Learning day with Square Circle Tech  & Jado Pado UAE

E-business students had two industry visits on the same day, 15^th of December, 2016. The first was to Square Circle Tech and the second was to the Jado Pado, UAE to study the technology and e-business in Dubai and MENA region.

Mr. Sameer Sortur and Ms. Sakina Hussain from Square Circle Tech, a leading IT Solution Company for High Companies shared their business model and the students learned how they work what they work for. Students learnt about the GCC area and how Dubai is far more different than other Arab countries (also other emirates) in terms of embracing technology and business. Mr. Sortur gave the students a good understanding of the markets in Dubai and the future developments with regard to global block chains, digital ID, CRM systems, Social media marketing and Hubspot.   

This was followed by the next visit to the offices of online marketplace, JadoPado UAE allowing e-biz students to gain an understanding of the e-commerce culture in Dubai and MENA region. Mr. Ali Rana, Marketing Manager of JadoPado UAE shared his extensive insights on the history and business overview of JadoPado, the usage and integration of technology in their business, and its application in the region as well as the local challenges and global opportunities that go into targeting consumers in the Arab region.
